THRIVE programme, under the Center for Core Research Excellence (TERAS), Department of Research Management (JPP), offers a comprehensive pathway for academic staff, particularly Early Career Researchers (ECRs), to progress from research induction to advanced leadership. Starting with foundational exposure to UM’s research ecosystem and long-term career planning, the modules build practical skills in proposal development, research writing, and high-impact publication, before advancing to strengthen visibility, collaboration, and citation impact. Ultimately, THRIVE equips academics with the knowledge, tools, and leadership capacity to develop strong research profiles, secure funding, and contribute to UM’s research excellence and global standing.
